NOPE IS A NOPE AS IN—NOPE, WE REALLY DIDN’T GET IT!!!

Sometimes a movie trailer nails it—and that is exactly what the promo for NOPE does. It draws you into the theatre expecting to experience something unique. 

We REALLY had a lot of HOPE for NOPE—and if truth be told, after seeing the movie, it leaves you confused and puzzled. A really memorable movie should NOT do that to its audience.

Mr. Peele wants to walk/work in the footsteps of such iconic  filmmakers of the macabre as Alfred Hitchcock and Rod Sterling, but he still has a lot more to learn. Nevertheless, he is a noteworthy filmmaker to watch as he fine tunes his craft as a director/writer of cinema as high art.

If you have yet to to see this latest addition to Jordan Peele’s impressive filmology, make sure you do—WITH CAUTION. AND, if you say: “NOPE.” don’t say we didn’t warn you.
